Hi, my name is Joe McCabe and I am here to help you reach your health and fitness goals. I really have trained every type of client. From people starting out on their fitness journey, to people who wanted to lose body fat and build strength, to pre and post pregnancy clients, to people who want to improve there sports performance. Probably above all else for people who train to help relieve and manage stress. That to me that goes hand in hand with training.

I qualified as a personal trainer over ten years ago from Litton Lane, Trinity College sports complex. Over the last ten years I have gone to seminars of the top international coaches, have completed a diploma in nutrition for sports performance and have completed qualifications in trx, kettlebells, Mobility, Strength and Conditioning.

Training Approach

My aim is always to get results but to get there, it will be different for every single person. Everyone has a different situation regarding training history, injury history, work life balance, how much stress one person has in their life is different to someone else’s.

The approach has to be tailored to the person but one thing which I will always say trumps everything else is Consistency, it’s a word that gets thrown around quite a bit but it really is what comes down to, if you show up and keep showing up, sooner or later with the right methods you will get results. Strength is something we all need as we get older and it’s something I really focus on with most clients. The stronger you get lifting weights, the stronger you will be doing everyday tasks.

Premier in Home Training

The Training I offer is free-lance, you can train from the comfort of your own home and cut out any time commuting to and from the gym while still getting results.

Semi-Private Personal Training

This can be done with four people outside, it can be done with four friends or colleagues and can be great with to have fun while training hard.

Outdoor Training

If that doesn’t suit, outdoor training is also another option. Outdoor training is a great way of training, with a trx, dumbbells, kettlebells and bodyweight movements all being a part of the routine.

Zoom/WhatsApp

Also available are 30-minute zoom calls OR what’s app, which have become very popular and a great alternative way to train over the last few months. It’s a great way to get 30 minutes in at your convenience.
